How scoring works
Your AIQ is a single, simple measure of where you stand with AI — like a credit score, but for AI readiness. This page explains what it measures, how the QOS methodology produces it, why it can change, and what it is (and isn't).
01 What is your AIQ?
Your AIQ is a score from 0 to 100 that reflects how ready you — or your organization — are to use AI well. It comes with a tier badge and a short, concrete roadmap of what to do next. The point isn't the number for its own sake; it's clarity: where you stand, how you compare, and your next move.
02 Two paths: Personal and Business
getAIQ scores two things, using the same trusted card with different dimensions:
Personal AIQ — for you & your career
Measured across five dimensions: Fluency, Tooling, Workflow, Judgment, and Habit.
Business AIQ — for your organization
Measured across five dimensions: Infrastructure, AI Tooling, Data, Security, and Team — with an industry benchmark and roadmap.
03 The QOS methodology
Your AIQ is produced by QOS v1™, getAIQ's scoring system. In plain terms: you answer a short set of questions, QOS evaluates your responses across the five dimensions for your path, and it combines them into an overall 0–100 score plus a per-dimension breakdown. Higher dimension scores lift your overall AIQ.
Tiers you earn
- Member — any score; you're on the map.
- Bronze — AIQ 50+.
- Silver — AIQ 70+.
- Gold — AIQ 80–100; elite.
Your tier is something you earn as your readiness rises. The tier can be shown; your underlying score stays private to you.
04 Why your score can change
AI is moving fast, so QOS is built to improve. As we refine the methodology — adding dimensions, sharpening questions, and incorporating what we learn — your score may be recalculated under a new version. That's a feature, not a bug: your AIQ stays current with the field instead of freezing in time. Founding members are part of the v1 cohort and directly shape these improvements.
05 Our transparency commitment
We publish a roadmap of what's coming and version notes when the methodology changes. You'll always be able to see which version produced your score and, at a high level, what drives it. We will not hide the ball behind a black box.
06 Privacy of your score
Your individual AIQ is private to you. You choose what to share. We never sell your data, and the tier badge is designed so you can signal progress publicly without exposing your exact number. See our Privacy & Security policy for full detail.
